About me
Jamie Barrs-Manuel is a proud graduate of Prairie View A&M University. She has worked as a Reading Specialist and coach for many years, concentrating on students with dyslexia, struggling readers, and teacher development. She also has extensive experience with curriculum writing and developing high yield strategies that serve as both job embedded professional development and tools to support all learners. She is now the ELA Program Director for PK-2nd grade in Aldine ISD. Her goal is to create avenues and resources that provide teachers with rich, quality strategies that increase their professional knowledge and ensure students are successful in school and beyond.
