About me
Alvaro Canales is a product of Aldine ISD (Nimitz HS, c/o '99), and he has since worked at Nimitz High School, Hall Center for Education, Davis Ninth Grade School, and Blanson CTE HS. He is currently a district multilingual coach. His 21 years in education have culminated so far in a desire to coach teachers on good tier 1 instruction: scaffolding, creating comprehensible input, allowing for multiple learning styles, and other strategies to pull students into owning their learning.
