K-5 TWDL High Order Thinking Skills to enhance student ownership

This session is for TWDL teachers only. In this session participants will engage in a collaborative learning environment to incorporate academic rigor to their lessons while ensuring they are using all language domains to express their knowledge. Participants will learn strategies to integrate higher-order questioning while elevating the critical thinking skills of the students during instructional time across the content areas to engage students in structured speaking opportunities that promote ownership for Emergent Bilingual students.
