This training will help high school math teachers use NCTM's 5 Practices to effectively leverage student work in facilitating productive math discourse. Teachers will learn strategies for guiding discussions that deepen understanding and encourage meaningful peer-to-peer learning.
Teachers will collaborate with other district teachers to unpack topics, internalize lessons, and create student work examples on M3T1L5 & L6; They will also learn how to use Geometry Desmos to explore geometric relationships.
